This page is by no means an exhaustive list of every combination - it would simply go on for ever. I have tried to give a reasonable overview, but most of these alterations to basic chord formats can be mixed and matched - you could put and "add4" on a "dominant 7"
* You can alter ii, IV, V, ix, XI, xiii. I have only shown the V & ix for brevity. You can also alter more than one at any one time (e.g. b5#9).
